I'd try to stick with the emulators personally. If you were determined to keep the old consoles running your best bet may be to hit the online auctions at like EBAY.COM and get a backup system because those old POKEY, ANTIC and GTIA or 8502 chips arent gonna last forever they are mostly already 20 years old.
