Well, if you mean the AC/DC Power adapter that goes from the mains to your 2600 then all you need do is go to Radioshack Or Tandy or Argos Or wherever and get a universal AC/DC Power adapter with a socket that fits the 2600 Power port. the settings for the adapter are 9V's Normal Polarity.
I would strongly advise against opening the Adapter as is can be highly dangerous if your body is carrying a static charge. It WILL amplify it and at the least give u a nast electric shock. Play it safe and have a nice day.
