If you have a coaxial (the kind your cable goes into) plug in the back of your TV and not the terminals that the old TV/Game switch adaptors used to use, you can either get an adapter to go between the coax connector on the TV and the terminals on your switch box, or you can buy one of the newer switch boxes that has the coax connector on it. (Make sure you get the manual-switch type, and not the auto-switch type - the 2600 signal is apparently not strong enough to make it switch). You then can connect your cable or whatever to the switchbox. Let me know if you need further clarification.
